Medical Assistance |
School Supplies |
Although the Malawi government offers free medical care, many clinics are overwhelmed with a high patient population. Long lines at government clinics are not unusual and when patients are lucky to see a health care professional, most of them cannot afford to pay for medications.
MEF helps our students and their guardians when they need emergency medical care so students can focus on their studies and not have to skip school to take care of their loved ones. |
We provide students with school supplies such as notebooks, pens, soap, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste and reusable sanitary pads. We also help students and their families with food such as maize flour, rice, beans, chicken and sugar.

Educational Field Trips
We took 32 high school students and 3 teachers to Majete Wildlife Reserve in October 2018. In May 2019, we went back to Majete Wildlife Reserve with 34 students and 3 teachers. In addition to seeing animals such as elephants, hippos, crocodiles and impalas, students got to learn about wildlife preservation. These trips help enhance the students’ appreciation of wildlife and the environment.
